The uniqueness of the town within the District , its form, history and quality of development, especially of the Conservation Area, is emphasised in the adopted Conservation Area Appraisal. This should dictate the quality of future develop-ment, of whatever type, in tandem with the topography of proposed locations within the Area of Special Landscape. Finally I observe that Bruton is a small enough place to make it necessary for all aspects of Planning to need to be considered in an integrated
